Technical interviews ask why, not only what.
Platform
Prepare for technical interviews by explaining projects, tradeoffs, and how you checked your work. This is practice, not a company test.
A technical round often starts with something you built and then stays there. The interviewer wants the problem, the choice you made, the option you did not take, and the check that told you it worked.
What to practice
- A two-minute project narrative a non-specialist could follow.
- One tradeoff, including the cost of the option you chose.
- How you tested, reviewed, or monitored the result.
- What you would change with a tighter deadline or a larger scale.
How the demonstration round behaves
If your resume text names a known skill, the opening question uses it. Short answers are sent back for a decision and a reason. Answers that only say “we” are asked to name your part. This is a scripted check, not a model judging correctness of code.
